Club Operating Times and How to Book:

Ravens Roost after-school childcare service must be booked in advance. 

When registering for the first time, new year 3 parents (for children starting in September 2024) will be sent a Register Your Interest form, to complete by 14th June 2024. For all other enquiries please send your request of interest by email to childcare@ravenscote.surrey.sch.uk, stating the days and sessions you would like.

Ravens Roost gets booked up early, and is offered on a first come, first served basis. 

You will then be sent our Ravens Roost Booking Form to complete, along with your child's dietary/medical/contact information.

If we are able to accommodate your bookings (bookings are processed on a first come first served basis) you will be sent an email confirmation. You will be able to see your bookings on your child’s SCOPAY account.

PLACES DO FILL UP QUICKLY, SO PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SEND YOUR BOOKING REQUEST  AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  

Bookings will roll over every half term until we are instructed otherwise.

We require a full half term’s written notice to cancel a regular booking.

If we are unable to accommodate your bookings, your child will be added to our waiting list. If a place becomes available, we will contact you by email.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Currently, we are not asking for a deposit for Ravens Roost childcare.

Do we accept non-regular bookings?

No, ad-hoc bookings are not accepted for Ravens Roost childcare.

In order to ensure that the right number of staff are in place we do need to know which days each child is coming.

Ravens Roost operates from Monday to Friday afternoons with activities running from 3.30pm until 6pm term time. 
(Please note: Ravens Roost does NOT operate on the last day of the term, when school closes at 12.45pm)

There are 2 sessions available for parents:

Session 1: 3.30pm-4.30pm
Session 2: 3.30pm-6pm

As a school-led childcare service, Ravens Roost follows the school safeguarding procedures.

Ravens Roost Contact Information

If you need to contact Ravens Roost whilst your child is attending, please call 01276 469009 (3.30pm to 6.00pm) and speak with one of the Ravens Roost playworkers.

If anyone other than a parent will be collecting your child, please email Ravens Roost in advance to let them know on childcare@ravenscote.surrey.sch.uk 

If your child is unwell or will not be attending Ravens Roost you must inform the school by telephoning 01276 709007 or by emailing childcare@ravenscote.surrey.sch.uk before 12pm. It is extremely worrying if we are expecting the child and they don't turn up.

Childcare Vouchers

If you would like to pay by Childcare Vouchers or Tax Free Childcare please contact Mrs Ray in the school office for further details. Please specify how much of these funds you want to use against Early Risers and/or Ravens Roost.
